What a profile may show
- Identity check current only when the identity record is verified and not expired.
- Food handler credential current only when that named credential is verified and not expired.
- Local license on file or Insurance on file only when the matching record is current.
- Ratings only from stored reviews, with the review count shown alongside the average.
California requirements are local
California food operations can fall under different frameworks, and permits are handled by local environmental health agencies. Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operations are only available where the local jurisdiction has authorized them. Chefity’s configured requirements do not replace a cook’s responsibility to satisfy the rules that apply to their operation.

Availability is exact
Chefity’s launch ZIP checker only returns availability when a payout-ready cook has included that ZIP in their delivery zones and has a future menu that is currently open. A California ZIP hint is never treated as proof of service.
